AMEK 200 versus 250?

 Some time ago Plugin Alliance released the AMK 250 EQ. A lot of compares were made and even one stated that they were in fact the same plugin. So I compared the two EQ's and have some graphs of it.

In the above picture I have the same settings for high and low frequencies, Q and everything else. If both EQ's were the same the two graphs would be on top of each other. They don't so they are not equal. Also when rendering the music the 250 was 0.8 LUFS louder then the 200, also with the same settings.

When involving the mid tones with the exact same settings the differences are getting bigger, also here not the same, in fact very different graphically. The test leads to the conclusion that the EQ's are not the same. This is graphical, but the most important, there is an audible difference in sound! And of course there's a  resemblance, because they are both EQ's and like all EQ's they have the same purpose.

Below the video that states that they are the same, I don't think so.
